Cluck & Squeal Island Chili with Bold Browning & Tasty Hot
The best new school Island Chili recipe – This non-traditional Chili recipe is simple to make and full of flavour. A new classic you can't miss. This recipe will change the way you think about Chili.
INGREDIENTS

2 lbs. ground meat (1 lb. of each is nice venison & beef/pork or beef and pork)
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- 2 Tbsp Mild Chili powder
- A total of 2.5 Tbsp Cluck & Squeal BOLD BROWNING Seasoning & BBQ Rub
- 1 Tbsp to preseason meat
- 1.5 Tbsp to Stir in 10 – 15min before the chili is finished cooking
- 2 Cups diced Red or Green pepper (or mix both)
- 1 Cup diced sweet onion
- 19-oz (540ml) can black or pinto beans drained and rinsed – OPTIONAL, LOL!
- 28-oz (796ml) can diced tomatoes
- 1.5 Cup Puree or Fine Chopped Tomato’s
- 1 Cup Beef broth (low sodium)
- 2 Tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 Tsp Himalayan or Sea Salt
- ½ Tsp Cluck & Squeal Tasty Hot pure chili pepper blend (½ tsp = warm, 1 tsp = medium hot) Stir in 10 – 15min before the chili is finished cooking
- 1 Cup raisins (smallest size you can source – Thompson raisins is what I use) Stir in 10 – 15min before the chili is finished cooking
TOP IT UP
Toppings below are optional, but I always enjoy my Chili with or without them.Approximate measurements for each serving
- 1 Tbsp Sour Cream dollop
- ¼ Cup Sliced or cubed avocado
- 1 Tsp Chopped cilantro
- 1 Tsp or a squeeze of Lime
- Corn Tortilla Chips for scooping
